Accountancy

My learning journey through ICS Learn for the AAT qualification has been a very transformative experience. I knew that pursuing a professional accounting qualification was what I wanted to do. I entered the business sector straight from leaving school, not 100% sure which area I was aiming for. I was quickly following a path in the accounts team. I quickly learned that the AAT qualification required my dedication and consistent effort but at the same time thoroughly enjoyed the learning process.
It has been the best way for me to move forward due to work commitments. It's easy to meet work requirements as well as use my spare time to learn and progress through the course. ICS Learn has allowed me to study at my own pace, which was incredibly helpful in balancing other responsibilities alongside my education. There is a variety of resources to hand, which is super useful, as I enjoy quizzes and interactive learning rather than a classroom environment.
All of which have helped me excel in my career. Each module built upon the previous one, which enhanced my knowledge and confidence.
The course challenged me to think critically and work accurately using their case studies to impact my thinking for real-world scenarios.
Studying through ICS Learn also impacted and improved my sense of discipline and self-motivation. With no fixed classroom schedule, I learned to manage my time more effectively and set realistic goals for myself. Lifelong habits that I will continue to use.
I can confidently say that this learning experience has equipped me with a strong and practical foundation in accounting and finance, while also helping me develop a disciplined and professional approach to my studies and life commitments.
Now, as I work through Level 4, I am delving into more strategic and decision-focused areas of accounting, further progressing my career. This level is certainly more demanding and difficult; it challenges me to think critically and analyse financial information more deeply. My career has progressed further, as I am now able to take on more accounting tasks within the business I work for.
Once I complete Level 4, I will definitely be looking to expand my learning further through ICS. I would highly recommend anyone to take on a new challenge through ICS Learn; it's the best thing I have done!
