This online course is the ideal next step if you've already completed PRINCE2 Foundation (2009 or 7th Edition).

You can also take this advanced course if you hold one of the following project management qualifications:

International Project Management Association (IPMA)

• IPMA Level A (Certified Projects Director)
• IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager)

• IPMA Level D® (Certified Project Management Associate)

You'll also be eligible if you hold one of the IPMA member associations' equivalent qualifications, including:

Association for Project Management (APM)

• APM Project Management Qualification (equivalent to IPMA Level D)

International Project Management Association USA (IPMA USA)

• IPMA USA Certified Project Management Associate (equivalent to IPMA Level D)

If you don't currently hold one of these qualifications, you can achieve PRINCE2 Practitioner status with the online PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner Combined course.

If English is your second language, we recommend you have an IELTS 6.5/ESOL Level 2 or equivalent, but we're happy to review your case on an individual basis.

• Practices: Explore essential project practices such as risk management, planning, quality control, issue handling, and progress tracking.
• Processes: Follow the full project lifecycle, from starting up and initiating, to controlling stages and closing the project effectively.

You'll also learn how to adapt the PRINCE2® framework to different project contexts and lead diverse teams, with a focus on the people element introduced in the 7th Edition.

Upon successful completion, you’ll become a Registered PRINCE2® Practitioner, demonstrating your ability to manage and lead top-tier PRINCE2® projects with confidence.

For your PRINCE2® Practitioner exam, you'll be assessed through a secure 150-minute online proctored exam. You’ll complete a 70-question exam and need a score of 60% to pass.

Your PRINCE2® certification is valid for 3 years from the date you pass your exam.

To maintain your certified status and keep your skills up to date, you’ll need to renew your qualification before it expires. You can do this in one of the following ways:

• Retake the exam: Simply retake the same PRINCE2® exam before your certification expiry date.
• Progress within the PRINCE2® suite: Take a further course and pass another exam in the same certification family (e.g. moving from Foundation to Practitioner).
• Log CPD points: Maintain your certification by actively collecting and recording Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points through your PeopleCert Plus membership (which is included in the cost of your course with us!).
