Human Resources

I began studying my level 5 in People Management with ICS Learn in May 2021 after just a month earlier completing my CIPD Level 3, also with ICS Learn.
So, it was an obvious choice for me to continue my studies with the same provider considering how supportive and well-rounded I found the service the first time. And now have completed my level 5 after only studying for about 6 months.
Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about studying for this qualification, as I had not attended university and therefore this was the highest level of education I had studied at.
From then on, my fears melted away and it turned out I was able to progress very successfully.
Because of my role, it was important I completed my studies as quickly but effectively as possible, as I am the main point of contact in the organisation for human resource queries.
My tutors supported me throughout my studies answering all my queries promptly and provided feedback on my draft assessments to ensure I had the best possible chance at passing assessments on the first attempt.
I am now receiving a pay rise in my current role based on the new responsibilities I can now oversee with this new qualification.
Furthermore, I have much more confidence in providing advice to my colleagues and implementing strategic planning within the business. The sense of pride upon completion of this course was really overwhelming and I’m hugely excited to receive my qualification certificate in the coming weeks.
