System Requirements
Internet Speed
We recommend a minimum broadband speed of 30 Mbps. This will allow you to watch videos, take part in online presentations, and upload assignments without issues.
Mobile Devices
Our course materials are optimised for a 16:9 display. While you can access your course on a mobile or tablet, some interactive features may not work as intended. For the best experience, we recommend using a laptop or desktop.
Firewalls
Please ensure your firewall settings allow file uploads. If you plan to study on a shared or public network (such as an office, library, or café), check whether restrictions may affect your access.
Recommended Software
We recommend using the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader to open PDF files. To access other course resources on MyStudySpace, you’ll also need Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or an equivalent program such as OpenOffice or a free file viewer.

You can study online with any modern web browser. For the best performance and security, we recommend always using the latest version. Our recommended browsers are:

Uploading and Downloading Course Materials
As part of your virtual learning experience, you will be required to upload and download assessments, assignments, and other course materials independently. Please ensure that your laptop and system meet the necessary technical requirements to support these activities.
If you are using company-issued equipment, it is your responsibility to confirm that your organisation permits the download and upload of materials from partner platforms (such as Dropbox or similar services). ICS Learn cannot assume responsibility for access issues arising from company-imposed restrictions.
WebEx
For our induction webinars and online classrooms we use a system called WebEx. The software/plugin is free to use and simple to set up. The system requirements for WebEx and the chrome extension can be found below. Please read the requirements for WebEx and confirm that your system meets their requirements as well as ours.
