CIPD Student Stories: Jill O'Halloran | CIPD Level 5 Diploma

Jill was keen to solidify her knowledge of HR practices with a accredited qualification and soon gained the Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management with ICS Learn.

I am an Administration Officer with Choice Housing Ireland Ltd based in Belfast. I work within our busy Learning and Development department. I originally started off in Human Resources providing admin support then moved solely to Learning and Development. I have always had an interest in Human Resources and wanted to hold a recognised qualification.

I recently completed the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management with ICS Learn.

This allowed me to finish the course on my own schedule rather than having to meet strict deadlines and submit assignments within specific timeframes.

It has provided me with a better base of my own knowledge as well as new abilities to bring to my professional role in order for me to perform more efficiently.

This qualification may present me with additional career prospects in the future and it also demonstrates my commitment to continue my learning journey to prospective employers.
