CIPD Student Stories: Emma | CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate

Emma wanted to enhance her L&D career, so after some research and a recommendation from her sister, she decided to undertake an online CIPD Level 3 qualification with us. Find out more below.

My current job title is Learning and Development Co-ordinator and I have been in this role for just over 2 years. I started my career in Learning & Development just over 4 years ago. 

I’ve been working in Learning and Development since 2016. From the beginning of my career, I have developed a passion for Learning and Development and decided it was now the right time to develop myself in this field.

I chose to study with ICS Learn as they were recommended to me by my sister who completed her HR Level 3 qualification with ICS Learn a couple of years ago.

I also did some research on providers and ICS Learn had a good reputation for studying CIPD courses for L&D. 

I had a chat over the phone with one of the course advisors who was really helpful and provided me with all of the information that I needed and answered any questions that I had, before making my decision to study with ICS Learn.

The enrolment process was straightforward and I had access to my online course within 24-48 hours.

I am enjoying my studies so far. The online webinars have been extremely helpful and it’s great that you can refer back to the recordings for each module.

I make good use of the course materials and suggested reading for each module. The tutor support is great and always accessible when I have any questions.

The qualification will provide me with opportunities to progress my career in Learning and Development.

Once I finish the course, I would like to continue studying with ICS Learn and enrol onto the CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Learning & Development.
