ILM Student Stories: Patrik Schatz | ILM Level 2 Certificate

Patrik wanted to lead teams and manage projects more effectively so he decided to study the ILM Level 2 Certificate with us.

I’m a manufacturing engineer with several years of experience focusing on optimising processes and improving production efficiency. While I love the technical side of my job, I realised that if I wanted to move into more strategic leadership roles, I needed to expand my skills beyond engineering. That’s why I decided to enrol in the Management and Leadership course with ICS Learn. I wanted a qualification that would help me lead teams and manage projects more effectively.

My main goal in studying with ICS Learn was to bridge the gap between my technical skills and the leadership abilities I needed to advance my career. Before enrolling, I struggled with stepping into management roles because I didn’t have formal leadership training.

This course was my way of overcoming that challenge, and it has made a huge difference. I now feel much more confident in my ability to lead.

Since finishing the course, I’ve noticed a real impact on my career.
