Henrietta wanted to gain the qualifications and confidence to transition into digital health project management. This is her experience studying the PRINCE2 Combined course.

My name is Henrietta, and I’ve worked in healthcare for several years as a support worker. While my primary responsibilities focus on patient care, I’ve always gravitated toward administrative and planning tasks—coordinating schedules, managing workflows, and helping ensure operations run smoothly.

I’ve found deep satisfaction in seeing tasks through from inception to completion, and over time, I realized that project management aligned perfectly with my natural strengths.

To test the waters, I undertook some preliminary project management training with a training provider and had the opportunity to contribute to a real-life digital project within my organization. This hands-on experience opened my eyes to the possibilities within healthcare tech and confirmed that project management was the right path for me. It also deepened my curiosity and drive to formally build on my knowledge and truly understand the principles, processes, and strategies that underpin successful project delivery.

Believe it or not, I discovered ICS Learn through a TikTok video! Someone shared their success story about completing their PRINCE2 qualification with ICS Learn, and something just clicked for me. Who knew doomscrolling could lead to a career breakthrough? Just goes to show, social media isn’t all cat videos and dance trends!

That’s when I enrolled in the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner course. I was drawn by the flexibility and structure of the program, which made it possible to fit learning around my demanding schedule.

My goal was clear: gain the qualifications and confidence to transition from frontline healthcare to a role in digital health project management. Before enrolling, I felt stuck—full of potential but unsure how to pivot. The course has given me not just a recognized certification but a strategic framework I’ve already begun to apply in my current role—for example, by introducing risk registers and structured planning to department-wide initiatives.

The range of resources available—downloadable materials, case studies, and lesson guides—added so much value to my study experience. The sample MCQs and quizzes in particular were incredibly useful in preparing me for the exams; they helped reinforce what I’d learned and gave me the confidence to sit the assessments.

The tutor support was outstanding—always responsive and encouraging. One valuable lesson I learned throughout was that small, consistent progress leads to big change. That mindset helped me stay focused while juggling work, study, and family life.

My next step is to secure a project management role in digital healthcare and grow into a sought-after project lead driving innovation in patient care.
