Procurement and Supply Student Stories:
CIPS Student Stories: Bassel Hindash | CIPS Level 4 Diploma

Already working as a Strategic Buyer, Bassel chose the CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply to deepen his professional knowledge and build towards future progression in procurement and supply chain.

As a Strategic Buyer for Walgreens Boots Alliance, I primarily focus on buying raw materials as part of the Global Sourcing team.

The course that I'm studying with ICS Learn is the CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply, starting my journey in June 2021.

Choosing Flexibility Around My Role

I chose ICS Learn as my study partner due to the positive reviews online and the multiple tools available to its students.

Another key element that made ICS Learn stand out amongst other providers was that the course was 100% online, this meant I had the freedom to study in my own time, as well as the flexibility I needed when it came to choosing my study hours.

The course offers great tutor support and course content; I found my tutor was well experienced within the Procurement and Supply Chain industry and had a strong background and knowledge of CIPS.

Additionally, they also provided me with great guidance and support whenever I had a question or needed clarity on a specific topic. I found contacting them was really straightforward through the student portal.

This was my first time trying online learning and I did think I would find keeping track of exam dates and course activities challenging, but to my delight ICS Learn were very proactive in sending reminders and updates to students regularly - which I found really helpful!

I found the course material to be especially useful, positive, and beneficial when it came to preparing and completing my coursework and exams.

Working Towards MCIPS

The CIPS Level 4 Diploma will be a key attribute to my future progression within the Procurement and Supply Chain industry and I intend to complete further study with ICS Learn in the future in order to achieve the MCIPS qualification and beyond.

I would strongly recommend ICS Learn for any individual who wants to obtain a Diploma, Certificate or Award within their industry or role, as ICS Learn offers a wide variety of courses, both academic and professional.

Build on your procurement experience with a flexible online CIPS qualification from ICS Learn.
