CIPD Student Stories: Chloe Foster | CIPD Level 5 Diploma

Whilst studying, Chloe landed a new role as a People Officer and has acquired plenty of confidence in the meantime to carry out the role effectively.

I am currently working as a People Officer in the Education sector and studying the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management with ICS Learn. I chose to study this course to enhance my knowledge on the people profession. Adding this study to my CV enabled me to acquire my current role as a People Officer and is giving me the confidence to complete my role effectively.

I chose to do this through ICS Learn for a number of reasons. The first being that the experiences of previous students were very positive.

Another reason being the finance and self-learn options which gives me the flexibility around my work. This has meant I could continue in full time work while I complete my studies and achieve the qualification in my spare time.

The tutors are always available if needed and offer ample feedback on any work submitted to ensure work is completed to the best standard.

My course is very interesting and informative which aids me in my work of being a people professional.

The website is very easy to use and there are guides for everything in case anyone is unsure. There are regular Q&A sessions and updates to the content and website.

I also contacted the student services team to help me swap my studies from one employer to a new one, the team were extremely helpful and made the switch very easy.

I have also contacted them about potential extensions in time and have been given ample information on what my options are and how to achieve this if I need to.

I would highly recommend ICS Learn to others and I intend to complete the next level of People Management through ICS Learn.
