CIPD Student Stories: Hitansh Shah | Level 5 Associate Diploma

Hitansh is looking forward to the day he can put 'Assoc. CIPD' after his name on his CV, and is working towards the completion of the Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management.

I work with NCHA as a support worker currently and completed my HR internship at the Borgen Project simultaneously. I have an MSc in Business Psychology from Heriot-Watt University and have completed 6 modules of CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management, to boost my understanding of L&D and HR simultaneously. 

I was introduced to ICS Learn by Eva who still follows up and replies to my queries. I had options of DPG and Avado as well, but Eva was so good at her job and convinced me that ICS Learn was the right match for me, and I don’t regret taking that decision.

I opted for the course to increase my chances of landing my dream HR job and entering the field. I feel I can genuinely impact the HR industry and current practices more positively and constructively.

This conviction has grown over the past 6-8 months since I have enrolled on this course, and I am working to get my CIPD Level 5 completed.

I can’t wait to put ‘ASSOC. CIPD’ after my name as I know how much effort I have put into this along with the tremendous support from the ICS Learn team including the non-teaching staff.

I have absolutely no complaints with the service and the platform ICS Learn has provided to move towards my vision.

The only area of improvement which I felt was in letting students know within a week’s time if they have made any error on their front cover sheet including the word count as that sometimes takes weeks and it delays the grading process by months sometimes.

I am eager to change my CV as soon as I get the result of my last unit and put my amended CV in search for HR and L&D jobs.

I would recommend ICS Learn to anyone and everyone who wants an organisation who is honest, reliable and cares for the careers of their students.

I would also send a special thanks to Elizabeth Cox and Nicole Bolland who were an absolute rock throughout in answering all my questions and making me feel comfortable with the course.
